Whisky Distillery

Patience, ambition and perfectionism come together here to create a whiskey full of depth and complexity. The raw materials for this whiskey are as unique as the region from which they come.

Malting barley grows in the catchment area of the Singold, Lech and Wertach rivers. After a detour via the malthouse in Bamberg, she encounters carefully controlled and filtered water from a deep well in the adjacent Western Forests nature reserve.
The love for Scottish tradition lives in the production of SinGold Whisky:

The unfiltered mash is distilled on a tailor-made system from the renowned manufacturer Arnold Holstein using the complex pot-still process. The clear distillate is brought to perfection by the quadruple distillation – without redistilling foreshots and feints. Handmade and quality-conscious, that is the top priority.

The whiskey is matured in a cask store available to the SinGold distillery. The mild but changeable climate of the Prealps and the famous weather phenomenon of the foehn make this possible.

Here the cask breathes on the shelves and the whiskey matures in its cask until it is finally bottled. The end product can remain as it is – unfiltered and uncoloured, as pure whiskey of the highest quality.
